Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd, has today become the newest company to join Food Industry Asia’s (FIA) growing network of responsible businesses operating in the region, and is, significantly, the first Chinese food & beverage company to become an FIA member.

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd is the only Asian dairy company recognised in the top 8 global dairy companies. The company is a provider of healthy and nutritious dairy products and is engaged in the processing and manufacture of a variety of milk products. It is also the only company that is recognised by the Olympics and World EXPO standards, and provided its dairy products to the 2008 Olympics and 2010 Shanghai World EXPO.
Throughout its history, Yili has always focused on “internationalization” and “innovation”. Quality and responsibility being at the core of its business, Yili has gained consumers’ trust with its various high quality, high technology, and high value-added products.

The company reported an operating turnover of RMB 60.3 billion and a net profit of RMB 4,654 million, to cement its place as a leader in Asia’s dairy business, by being recognised as the largest dairy company in Asia.
The company has a significant global footprint with its first major overseas dairy factory in New Zealand, a strategic partnership with Italian dairy giant SterilgardaAlimentiS.p.A, has set up its European R&D Centre in the Netherlands and carried out comprehensive collaboration with enterprises, universities and research institutes in the United States of America.
