The Annual Roundtable on Food Innovation for Improved Nutrition (ARoFIIN) has been rebranded to now be known as evolve.
The platform was convened in 2015 in Singapore by the Health Promotion Board (HPB), an agency of the Ministry of Health, Singapore, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS) and FIA, to facilitate and champion efforts to solve public health challenges including obesity, undernutrition and other non-communicable diseases and create scalable positive impact for the health and well-being of Asia.
Sabeera Ali, evolve Coordinator, explains the reasoning behind the rebranding, and shares her thoughts on the future of evolve.
We have rebranded!
On 1 August 2019, we launched our rebranded platform, evolve
, at the 5th Annual Roundtable
in Bangkok, Thailand.
ARoFIIN is a name that has served us well for the first five years of our journey. However, our vision has significantly broadened from initiating multi-stakeholder dialogue and addressing public health challenges. It was time to revisit our narrative - one that reflected our maturity, our considerable growth, and our commitment to delivering meaningful behavioural change and empowering healthy communities across Asia.
With the refresh platform, evolve will explore a wider array of activities, dialogues and partnerships to co-create and pilot holistic approaches. We are excited about the impact that evolve will have within communities regionally through continuous stakeholder engagement to co-create scalable and localised solutions.

There will be more to it than merely changing our name - our new website will provide a user experience that allows us to deliver on our three-tiered approach. We are excited to reveal our new look to showcase how we have been growing and confident that our rebranding helps exemplify our growth as an organisation.
