\n\nOrganised by FoodNavigator-Asia and NutraIngredients-Asia, the Healthy Ageing APAC Summit returns to Singapore for year three in July 2020.
\nAsia-Pacific’s population is ageing at a rapid rate, opening up huge new opportunities for food, beverage and nutrition companies.
\nThe number of older persons in the region is expected to more than double from 650 million today to nearly 1.3 billion by 2050.
\nThe event brings together brands, suppliers, regulators and market experts to assess how the industry can meet the food and nutrition needs of older consumers of today and tomorrow.
\nCrucially, it also comes from the perspective that healthy ageing begins from conception, and therefore assesses healthy food and nutrition solutions across all age spans, which help ensure people will ultimately enjoy a healthy older age.
\nSome of the key themes for the 2020 event will include: Snacking for seniors, reformulation and fortification, innovation in infant nutrition, functional foods focus, protein potential, indigenous insights, medical and clinical nutrition case studies, markets and policy updates.

\nAsia-Pacific’s population is ageing at a rapid rate, opening up huge new opportunities for food, beverage and nutrition companies.
\nThe number of older persons in the region is expected to more than double from 650 million today to nearly 1.3 billion by 2050.

\nThe ASEAN Food and Beverage Alliance (AFBA) is organising a virtual workshop on the topic “Strengthening Food Safety Framework through a System-based Approach”.
\nRepresentatives from ASEAN countries will be sharing their experiences in the implementation of a systematic framework to manage food safety along the whole food supply chain. Industry representatives have also been invited to share their perception on such approaches and its impact on intra and inter-ASEAN trade.
