Gurmukh Singh Chhabra

Gurmukh S Chhabra leads the Asia, Middle East and Africa eCommerce business for Mondelez International including India, Australia, China, Japan, South East Asia and Middle East Africa. He functions as general manager overseeing strategy and execution across the regions directly working with marketing, sales, logistics, operations, supply chain and trade marketing teams. In addition he also serves as the Strategy head and CFO for the eCommerce organization.
Prior to joining Mondelez’s Singapore office earlier this year, Gurmukh worked in Strategy & Brand Management at Mondelez International in New Jersey, USA. Most recently, he served as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Growth Officer of the company, directly working with the chief executives to help shape the strategic plans for Mondelez. Before that Gurmukh was a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company, based out of Pittsburgh, USA. Gurmukh earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Director, Public Policy
Patrik Jonasson is the Asia Pacific Public Policy Director for GS1. He is charged with defining and executing regional strategies for external engagements. Focus areas include Government engagement in the context of traceability/food safety, e-commerce/retail, cross-border trade/customs processes.
The GS1 system of standards is the most widely used supply chain standards system in the world, widely used by retail, e-commerce, healthcare and commonly known for the numbers embedded in the ubiquitous EAN/UPC barcodes. GS1 standards have powered the world of physical commerce for over 40 years—providing a foundation for the identification of products, places, companies, assets and transactions, as well as for data sharing and tracking & tracing.
During his 15+ years in Asia, Patrik has been based in Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. In previous roles he was representing private sector in Indonesia (and ASEAN), working on trade and investment issues, supporting increased market access and stronger business ties between EU and ASEAN.
Patrik has a Master of Science in Business Administration with Japanese studies from the School of Business, Law & Economics at University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Christopher Y. Chan
General Counsel & Head of Government Affairs
Lazada Group (Singapore) and RedMart
Christopher Y. Chan is General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs for Lazada Singapore and RedMart. Lazada is the largest e-commerce and logistics platform in Southeast Asia owned by the Alibaba Group.
In 2016, Chris led the M&A to sell RedMart, Singapore’s largest and fastest growing e-commerce grocery and logistics player, to the Lazada Group. He then assumed responsibilities as its Singapore Legal Head and some of the region. Before RedMart, he served as GC and angel investor in a successful Silicon Valley start-up exit, an Intellectual Property litigator with Finnegan, and a Clerk at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Prior to the law, he was a management consultant in both India and the US. He currently serves on the Board of ACC's Singapore Chapter, was one of the Association of Corporate Counsel's 2018 Top 10 30-Somethings, and was Southeast Asia's In-house Lawyer of the Year 2017. Mr. Chan attended Duke University and Case Western Reserve School of Law. Currently, he can be found after-hours at an indoor rock-climbing gym or cruising around in his sail boat.

David has over 12 years of international CPG experience coming from both manufacturer and consultancy side. David is the eCommerce and Omni-Channel practice lead for the consulting division of Kantar in SEA. Before joining Kantar David spent 9 years with FrieslandCampina in local, regional and global roles. Having setup the eCommerce business for FrieslandCampina in China and multiple markets in SEA his core expertise is in the field of Omni Channel Strategy, Route to Market Strategy, Shopper strategy, Ecommerce business development and data-analytics.
Before Joining Kantar David was part of the leadership team of FrieslandCampina Hong Kong and led the (Cross-Border) Ecommerce and Shopper Marketing teams. David has a demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders across all levels of an organization.

Chee Yap is the Executive Director for the Sealed Air Corporation, leading the Innovation and Development team and providing strategic direction for new products and technology development for the Asia Pacific region. His team provides expertise in food sciences, microbiology, cold chain solutions, chemical engineering, materials engineering, packaging design and testing to support the growth of the regional business. Sealed Air partners with customers to solve their most critical packaging challenges with innovative and sustainable solutions to enable a safer, more efficient food supply chain and protect valuable goods shipped around the world.
Chee is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) and has 20 years of combined industry experience in the food, protective packaging and automotive. He has spent a considerable portion of his professional career holding various positions in research & development, process engineering, quality controls, and operations management.
Chee received his M.Sc. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, USA. He is currently taking the Executive MBA program from Rutgers Business School in Singapore.
Chong Nyet Chin
Food Safety and Quality Director

Ms Chong holds a Science degree in Chemistry from National University of Singapore, and an MBA from Leicester University, UK. She has over 20 years’ experience in the areas of quality assurance and food safety, well-versed in GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, 6 Sigma and Total Quality Management. She was invited to share her experiences in various conferences such as food safety congress, ECR, Food&HotelAsia (FHA) International Conference and Lean Six Sigma.
As a technical professional, she has served in various working committee and focus groups set up by government authority such as AVA, Enterprise Singapore (previously Spring) and NEA in areas of Cold Chain Management Standard, FMCG standards and Food Safety Regulations. In 2017, she received the Merit award for Quality and Standards given by Spring Singapore, endorsing her contributions to the Singapore standards journey. She is currently the Technical Chair of food processing and distribution under Singapore food standard committee.
In her current position in FairPrice, she is responsible for the overall control of the food safety management and quality assurance system as well as regulatory management for the Co-operatives. Due to keen interest in quality management systems and strong belief that a strong foundation in system will build a strong brand, she has helped Fairprice in developing the risk management framework and various control measures in fulfilling the vision of assuring food safety
Luc Wong-Lun-Hing is the Head of E-commerce, FrieslandCampina Singapore.
At FrieslandCampina since 2011, Luc has experience in Digital marketing & CRM, Digital innovation and E-commerce. He moved from the Netherlands to Singapore in April 2018 to lead the e-commerce business for the brands Friso and Dutch Lady.
