"A Shared Vision for the Food Industry in ASEAN"

6 September, 2012
 Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta

FIA will hold its inaugural Leaders’ Summit for F&B industry associations, on 6 September 2012 in Jakarta. The event will be hosted by FIA in partnership with the Indonesian Food & Beverage Association (GAPMMI), an FIA Associate Member.

The Summit will serve as a launch pad for a groundbreaking FIA report on the regulatory convergence landscape in Asia and will focus on industry solutions for meeting trade goals in ASEAN.

The aim of the event is to foster stronger dialogue between national industry associations (NIAs) throughout the region and gain inter-regional alignment on their trade and regulatory priorities. FIA has spent the last two years building relationships with NIAs individually, and the summit will bring these partners together for the first time, fostering a common vision and a sense of shared purpose for the industry.

Pre-registration
Delegate spaces will be limited to 200 people and we anticipate a high level of interest in the event. In the first instance, priority will be given to elected leaders of registered industry associations and their F&B Committees in the ASEAN countries.

The Summit is free of charge for:
  • Elected representatives of F&B industry associations – aimed at President, Committee Chairmen and Secretariat leaders in ASEAN
  • Active members of F&B Committees within manufacturing federations in ASEAN
  • Representatives from FIA member companies – aimed at region and market leads for Regulatory and/or Corporate Affairs
  • Market experts in regulatory convergence & technical barriers to trade (by invitation)

.
Please note that priority will be given to the categories above and a final invitation list will be approved by the FIA/GAPMMI Steering Committee. All registered delegates will be notified by e-mail.
