Princess Viktoria (1982) studied law and economics at Nyenrode Business University in Breukelen and has worked for various Dutch companies. She now lives in Rome, Italy, where Prince Jaime is Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the Holy See, the Vatican.
Princess Viktória is patroness of Save the Children since 2015. In this capacity, she follows in the footsteps of her husband’s grandmother Queen Juliana, who founded Save the Children in the Netherlands in 1980 and remained honorary chairman till her decease in 2004. In her capacity as patroness she is ambassador of child rights and raises awareness for the position of children worldwide. The Princess specializes in the thematic area of nutrition. She is committed to connecting stakeholders and finding solutions contributing to food security and nourishment for all.

and bigger and faster impact. Kamel brings decades of experience working within
the private food sector, holding several high-level R&D and business
development roles with global food companies in several different regions in
North America, Europe and Asia. He has managed large-scale new product and
business initiatives, and successfully set up partnership models for impact.

Mr. Belete is an Ethiopian national and a development professional with over 20 years of experience in Asia and Africa. He is currently the Practice Manager for the World Bank's Agriculture Global Practice for the East Asia and the Pacific Region based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Prior to this, he was the Sector Manager for the World Bank's Sustainable Development Department in Indonesia responsible for investment portfolio and policy dialogue in the following core sectors: agriculture, energy, infrastructure, transport, urban services, water resources, environment, and disaster risk reduction, among others.
Senior Analyst - Food & Consumer Trends
Prior to joining Rabobank, he was a Senior Economist and Vice President of Sales, Research & Marketing, at LMC International, an independent economic and business consultancy for the agribusiness sector. Prior to LMC, Nick worked as a Senior Research Economist for The Natural Resources Institute in the U.K. Additionally he has worked as a freelance economic journalist, a Senior Economist with the Government of Papua New Guinea, as well as a lecturer/tutor in Applied Economics. Nick holds a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from Reading University in the U.K.

Eddy Lee, PhD has invested in and supported more than 50 startups predominantly in the US, Singapore and Indonesia. Interest areas include mobile health, big data, IoT and marketplaces. He has recently relocated from the Silicon Valley to Southeast Asia to tackle unmet needs in emerging markets. He works with entrepreneurs in product development, enterprise partnership, M&A exit, and entering international markets such as the US, Japan, Singapore and Indonesia.

Niccolò is Founding Partner of Five Seasons Ventures, a newly established venture capital fund focused on investing in early stage companies along the Food value chain. Niccolò has been investing in Food Tech since 2014 and created and managed a portfolio of 10 companies, including Impossible Foods, Clara Foods, Beyond Meat and Clear Labs.
VisVires New Protein
Matthieu founded VisVires New Protein in 2014 with a focus on innovative solutions to the acute inefficiencies of the food industry.They look for disruptive technologies to improve the interaction between food and health, solutions to tackle food waste, food safety & traceability, and to address the unsustainability of the protein production system.The fund has already deployed capital into two promising start-ups, Ynsect and Nuritas.
Matthieu has over 25 years’ experience in investment management. Most recently, as Senior Managing Director, Director of Research as well as a member of the Executive and Investment committees of Everest Capital. Matthieu has a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from Universite Paris Dauphine and graduate degree from Sciences Po.

Arturo is CEO of Clara Foods, a sustainable food-tech company leveraging advanced fermentation to develop performance protein products including the world's first animal-free egg white. Prior to founding Clara Foods, Arturo served under Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the investment bank Credit Suisse. Arturo is originally from Laredo, Texas and holds a degree in Government and Comparative Politics from Harvard University.

Ricky Lin is the founder of Life3 Biotech, a start-up company focusing on innovative functional foods and beverages through the use of natural plant-based ingredients; to address health concerns such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and osteoporosis attributed to poor nutrition and lifestyle habits. Life3's work on plant-based protein as an alternative to meat, bagged two out of five awards in the Singapore Food Innovation Product Award 2016. As an alumnus of NUS, he believes in championing changes through innovation and collaboration in cross-disciplinary studies.
Eugene Wang grew up immersed in the vegetarian food business. He began consulting and leading food companies in the vegan and vegetarian food categories and since 2004, his vision for launching the first Vegan Seafood has manifested into a viable category innovation lauded by the press and social media thought leaders, as well as natural trade industry leaders. The Sophie’s Kitchen Vegan Seafood phenomena has brought him the accolade ‘Vegan Visionary’.
